I'd like your opinions on which is best on a PvE monk.

If you want to learn how to manage your energy and become a smart monk, also if you plan on pvping use +health armor and u can swap out with a +15 vs condition chestif u wish

sure a lot of ppl will tell u radiant but i use survivor dont rly need the energy i monk with just 35 some times and i do fine with my Gvg Lod build and its nice not to die in 1 hit as well HP ftw

Use survivor and multiple energy weapon sets. It has the advantage, that you do not die as quickly, are targetted less due higher health, suffer elss from DP when u have died.

Why no radiant? they only give extra energy, they dont add any energy manegemt at all, and u really shouldn't need that much in general (as stated above).

i use all survivor i never need energy "err almost never" so i dont use radiant and as u said "u do not die as quickly and u suffer less from DP" but i do want to test that cause 15% of 30 as higher loss then 15% of 15 HP "15% of 15Hp -> 14HP left 15% of 30Hp -> 28HP left" "idk if the math is right" so with high HP more will be taken from DP but u still have more HP in the long run "no s***" but the loss is more if u die so IMO survivor > radiant

PS idk wtf that was about i started saying u didnt need the energy and some how got on DP

basically, you won't ever want Radiant except if you farm.

for everything else, *survivor* is win, but sometimes +Armor doesn't actually hurt. while suffering from a condition can come in handy while running draw conditions for example.

in normal mode, you basically don't even have to use protective spirit, so +armor works fine, but in hard mode, you will always always want *survivor*, because stuff just hurts too much and it's worth using ps.

meh dont need the energy in HM smarter to have to HP in HM IMO harder to kill

ive tryed both sets and i dont think u need the energy if ur smart about using skills "when u use Heal party dont over heal or over prot have a sig that heals as well as GoLe"

Personally, I prefer Radiants. I like to (OK, I love to) smite in PvE as well as heal, and I find the extra energy to be a real boon

Survivor Insignia all the way. I got 11 armor sets, 10 of which got the survivor insignia. I only use minor runes on my armor. 640 hp is priceless, especially in Hard Mode.

You could also in PvE use Wanderers insignas as well they still use them in PvP.I have seen them recently in GvG matches or try another Monk only insigia.

Bah...if only the title were "What insignias should I use on my armor in PvE?" in which case I'd instantly suggest Blessed, since you have channeling on you. YOU HAVE CHANNELING ON YOU. Though, between the two, survivor wins easily....

channeling in pve? sounds like a dangerous business when it comes to placement.

I think we've all learned by now from mhenlo that a monk should run into a mob, and spam healing touch....

so channeling is the best choice.
